What size Matte box safety should i go for?

This all depends on what lenses you use most often or what you want to be prepared for.

The 12" safeties generally are a good length for Zeiss superspeeds, K35's, Cooke Panchros, other short lenses and Signature primes, most other Cooke lenses, Master anamorphics, Angenieux EZ zooms, Panaspeeds, Primos etc. .

The 18" safeties are better fitted for ZOOM Lenses like the ARRI Alura, Cook Optimo, Angenieux Optimo Zoom or other long zoom lenses.

How strong and safe are they?

We use 7 strand 550 4mm paracord for each safety. This is certified to hold around 250kg. The carabiners a in a thestphase but hold a tesetd weight of 100kg. Our products will be safe to withstand the pull of a falling matte box.

How long do you need for the delivery?

As all matte box saftey chains are produced on demand, the delivery time is at least 4 weeks..
